Purrfect Purr Cat Hotel

  PURRFECT PURR CAT HOTEL is a totally new and unique option for boarding cats. We are licensed and inspected by the Anchorage Municipality.

  Dogs have, for years, enjoyed facilities designed with their needs in mind while you were forced to leave your beloved cat in a tiny cage! Well, not any more.

  We provide long term care as well as short term day care (if you are moving or having carpets cleaned etc.).

Our rates are affordable and our service outstanding.  

  Though, for some cats a pet sitter is appropriate, especially if you have a house full or if your cat is fragile, but for others it's an intrusion by a stranger.

  At Purrfect Purr, your cat has the opportunity to socialize with other cats instead of languishing in a cage alone.

  For Christmas or New Years we serve a baked Cornish Hen to the guests, and as the picture shows, cats have much better manners than their Lion cousins! Afterwards the Guests enjoy Alaska grown cat nip and cold filtered water.

Guest Policies

All guests must arrive and depart our facility in a pet carrier since the can escape inside or outside in transit.

  Guests must be current on all vacinations. Please do not wait to vaccinate your cat, we require at least 7 days waiting period after vaccinations prior to boarding to ensure your cat is not experiencing any side effects from the vaccine. Because our facility promotes socialization, for the safety of our guests we do not board sick cats, no exceptions.

  We require a local emergency contact person who can pick up your cat in the event you are delayed and unable to contact us. We do not have the ability to keep cats for long beyond their check-out time. Though it would break my heart to do so after 48hrs they will be deemed abandoned and taken to the animal shelter.

  We only administer pills or liquid medications for non contagious conditions such as diabetes etc. We do not administer sub-cutaneous fluids or injections.

  All medications must be labeled with your cats name, clear instructions, and what the medication is for.

  A $20.00 deposit and completed contract is required to book reservations. Full payment is due upon check-in.

  Feel free, in fact we recommend that you bring a personal item i.e. kitties blanket,  or a piece of your recently worn clothing, with you. Your scent on a tee shirt or pillow case goes a long way in comforting your cat and making their suite feel more like home. (Your funk is their Armani!).

Cancellation Policies

We appreciate being notified as soon as possible if you must cancel your reservation. Unfortunately since we are a small exclusive facility, we must charge a cancellation fee, except in the event of an emergency for short notice cancellations if we are fully booked.
