Our Business

  We are a small exclusive facility catering to the unique personalities of cats. Our units are large and comfortable with custom feather-down beds. We provide a clean and safe environment for all of our guests.

  We strive to make your cat's stay stress free and fun and when you pick your cat up he/she will be in as good as or better shape than when you left them.

  We are one of only two -cats only- facilities in the Anchorage area and we aim to be the best.

  From the hypo-allergenic plant derived kitty litter to the premium no animal by-products top shelf cat food, we use only the best products in the care and feeding of your precious pet.

  Our business is to cater to our guests every need and to go above and beyond to keep them happy.

  Our pledge to our customers is to deal honestly, fairly and respectfully and we expect the same in return.

  Any personal or financial information obtained will be handled with absolute confidentiality, it will not be shared with anyone for any reason. We do not store any credit card info.

  We use Ravenwood Veterinary Hospital, VCA in Eagle River and Alaska Equine and small animal hospital in Chugiak.

  You will be required to sign a release form allowing us to take your cat to Veterinary Hospital in the event of an emergency. If your Vet is at Eagle River VCA you must have a signed statement from them that they have authorization to treat your cat (a signed letter will suffice). Even though we screen our guests, the possibility of minor injuries or transmittable diseases inherent in all cattery, boarding or rescue environments exists, you will be responsible for the payment of any medical bills involving your cat.

Who We Are

  We are a family of cat lovers who recognized the lack of cat friendly facilities in Anchorage. We decided to fill the void and decided to open Purrfect Purr.

  We are a Military family and understand and support our troops. I am a USN Vietnam Era vet, Steve is retired Canadian Airforce pilot, one son is an 8yr Navy vet and the other along with his wife are USAF vets.

  Were it not for Purrfect Purr, I would be the "crazy cat lady" on the block with a house full of precious puddies. My love of cats is reflected in my facility.
